Who we are
Saynotch is software made by Adnan Kabbani, an independent developer based in Lebanon ("we", "us"). You can reach us at adnan@kabbani.dev.
Buying Saynotch
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.
Your licence
A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime licence to install and use Saynotch on up to 3 Windows PCs that you own or control. You can move the licence by deactivating it on one PC and activating it on another. You may not resell, share publicly, sublicense, or remove the licence check from Saynotch, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
Licence checks
Saynotch checks your licence with our licence server when you activate it and from time to time afterwards. If Saynotch cannot reach the server before its 24-hour signed licence expires, it asks you to connect to the internet before you can keep using it. A refunded or charged-back purchase ends the licence.
Gemini and other services
Saynotch's voice, dictation and screen questions use Google Gemini through an API key that you create and enter yourself. Your use of Gemini is governed by Google's terms, and any limits or charges on your key are between you and Google. Web search uses a third-party search service. We are not responsible for the availability or answers of these services. Answers from AI can be wrong; check anything important.
Updates
We may release updates that fix problems or add features. We don't promise that any particular feature will keep working forever, for example if Windows or a third-party service changes.
Refunds
See our refund policy.
No warranty and limitation of liability
Saynotch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Saynotch. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Saynotch after a change means you accept it.
